Celebrations on the River Wedding in La Crosse, Wisconsin

Spring in Wisconsin usually means dodging bursts of rain clouds and chilly winds between sweet, glorious glimpses of sunshine. On Brianna and Cameron’s wedding day, we did plenty of bobbing and weaving for picture-perfect moments!

Celebrations on the River Weddings are always phenomenal because they are genuinely prepared for anything – and they’ve already thought of everything! Come hell or high water (and let me tell you, the river was the highest it’ll hopefully be this year) we were going to get Brie and Cameron married.

I truly believe that Cam and Brie were meant to be married on this exact day. Just before the ceremony, the rain had finally stopped long enough for Anne and her team at Celebrations on the River to dry chairs. The sun came out just before Brie walked down the aisle and the rays seemed to beam and carry her down the aisle towards the rest of her life – Cameron.

Believe it or not, there was rain during almost the entire reception – except for when we snuck outside for sunset portraits. I was one happy wedding photographer this day because this story doesn’t happen often!
